Workshop: Social Media for the Unemployed

Social Bits will be running a special workshop for the unemployed on Thursday, May 20th.

In the current economic climate we are offering a workshop that aims to help people that are currently unemployed in how to learn and apply the use of Social Media for building their brand online. Social Media tools are a great way to set up a business on the  Web and help you go about promoting your website online. So whether you want to build and promote your own personal brand or sell your artwork or publish that unfinished novel – Social Media is a great way to do it.

Web 2.0 technology can seem very daunting – you must learn new technology, new terminology and look at new ways to target potential clients and learn how to brand your product or new service online. It is not very easy to master the learning curve for these activities easily. We are tailoring a half day package for anyone interested in learning new Social Media skills to make it easy. The workshop aims to educate and inform people on how they can go about promoting their new projects that they are working on and helping those projects to become a reality in the online world whilst they are unemployed. We are located above the Galway coach station , so if you wanted to, you could also travel cheaply to get to us for the half day by coach from anywhere in Ireland.
